This is an Emerson Commander that has a cross pattern cut into the G-10
handle to maintain a better grip on the knife under wet conditions. Although
the image above does not depict it well, the top half of the blade has received
a high polish to create a two tone effect that accents the original Black Ti
finish. In addition, all of the original flathead screws have been replaced by
allenheads for easier disassembly.
A top view of the Commander reveals serrations along the top of the handle
for a better grip and a blue plastic insert to accent the G-10 material. The
pocket clip on the back has been slotted and highly polished. Serrations
have also been added to the bottom side of the handles as well.
